MFC Dust Off

Our Spring Dust-Off will be a leisurely cruise down to Sauder Village in Archbold, OH (about 84 miles). We will be leaving from the Pinckney McDonalds at 1184 E. M-36 at 8:00 AM with stops in Chelsea and Adrian at the McDonald's to top off our cars at nearby gas stations, drain off our morning coffee and refill if necessary. The drive will be about (2) hours plus (2) half hour comfort stops for a total of (3) hours to arrive at our destination by 11:00 AM. We will all need to purchase our individual admissions for the Village at their Welcome Center once on site. The cost is $18 per person with a $2.00 discount for anyone over 60 or if you have a AAA membership. We will try to arrange for a table at their Barn Restaurant at 12:00 noon where we can all convene for lunch if so desired. The lunch buffet is $10.99 which includes chicken or another meat, mashed potatoes and gravy, vegetable, roll, soup & salad bar. There are other menu items besides the buffet as well. We will all be free to spend the rest of the day (until 5:00 PM) visiting the historic Sauder Village. Please check them out at saudervillage.org If you plan to attend (and we hope you do), would please be so kind as to sign up on the MFC website so we will have an idea of how many people we might have in attendance. Note: even if you do not sign up or change your mind later, this is not a firm commitment and you are free to join us or drop out as circumstances dictate. We are hoping for a great turnout this year, so mark your calendars for Saturday May 4th to attend this kick-off event for the 2019 season! Remember to bring your two way radios so we can all stay in touch during our drive down.
